The original aim of OSFirstTimer was to find the best OS which eventually turned out to be Arch Linux with the KDE desktop environment installed, it was given the unofficial name of 'The Diana Perfect OS' as Diana personalised it to her liking. The worst OS was declared as OS-DOS in the 'Top 3 Worst and Best Operating System User Interfaces' in 2012. OSFirstTimer Advanced

Recently Philip has started a series on his channel called OSFirstTimer Advanced where he has his mom complete more complex tasks on certain OS's throughout history. Most Videos now use the OSFirstTimer Advanced intro as opposed to the original OSFirstTimer intro that is only used in videos that follow the 5 basic tasks format
