The AstralPhaser Weekly Chat was a series in the AstralPhaser YouTube channel where Philip interacts with the community. It was initially for Q&A, but later grew into other discussions such as general tech. It ended on September 6th, 2017, because of community drama, and it became more repetitive.

How to get into the weekly chats

In the beginning, everyone in the server was allowed to join. But that caused issues since everyone would speak over each other, then rotations became a thing where one group of people would be randomly selected, then after a few minutes, another group would be selected. That did not last long as better solutions were made instead. APHC staff team decided to instead just randomly select people with no rotations, then Philip opened a Patreon for his subscribers to support him, and one of the tiers was allowing Patreon supporters to join the weekly chat without waiting.
